Broker / Lakeview
People often say, “Wow, you must love houses!” – my unequivocal response is, “Yes I do, but not nearly as much as I love people”.
My philosophy is simple and revolves around honest, hard work and having fun. It’s no secret that I love what I do. As a Seattle native who was born and raised in West Seattle I’m keen on most things “local” (except of course, the weather).
Two words sum up my entire professional life: Real Estate.
Clutching my English degree from the University of Washington (1980) with a burning desire to be the next Neil Simon I quickly realized no matter how talented or big the dream, there was still a need to earn a living, or as my parents said, “Find a profession.”
With that idea in mind, I embarked on a 30-plus year career in Real Estate.
The industry has grown and changed beyond imagination from when I cut my teeth in Title Insurance. But through that beginning a firm knowledge of and interest in real estate developed. After 8 years in title insurance, the yearning for self-employment led me to begin life again as an Independent Real Estate Appraiser. Nearly 15 years of appraising has helped develop a strong knowledge base for real estate sales and an unquenchable enthusiasm for the industry. The past and present merged into life as a happily contented real estate Broker at Windermere Real Estate, Lakeview Office.
Over the years I‘ve had the good fortune to make lasting friendships with clients and colleagues alike. I’m a firm believer that as long as you do what you love and do it with integrity, life will be a pleasure. And mine is.
