I have a history of building lasting business partnerships in retail, and I have always been curious about the Real Estate arena. It’s a natural career progression for me to apply the skills developed in my previous roles. To be your guide during the process of buying or selling a home and creating a rewarding and stress-free experience for you, so you can realize your dream, is my goal.
Home ownership, to me, is more than being a great investment; it’s engaging with a community where memories will be made. One of my favorite things to do in my neighborhood is shopping at the local farmer’s market on the weekend, if only to run into neighbors! I also enjoy traveling and seeing how people live abroad. I’ll admit, after each trip, I feel blessed to return home to my corner of town.
A true Northwest native, I was born in Bellingham, WA. I spent much of my youth traveling between my hometown and Seattle’s Magnolia neighborhood. After graduating from the University of Puget Sound with a degree in Psychology and Communications, along with a minor in German, I finally moved to Seattle. My first job was at a design firm where I developed my appreciation for cohesive home interiors. The majority of my career, however, was working for Nordstrom, where I held management and multiple buying assignments.
My 25-year retail tenure at Nordstrom was galvanized by creating strong customer and vendor relationships built on honesty, integrity, and open communication, made comfortable by trusting in my ability to empathize with people. These partnerships weathered the test of time and propelled long-term year-over-year growth for the business. I am so grateful for the many experiences I had at the retailer and the lifelong friends made there.
My interest in Real Estate started at an early age.Weekends were never complete if my mother did not stop at an open house to tour and share her commentary. As a child, I remember moving twice, both times because she found the perfect lot on which to build a new home. I became enamored with the process of finding a location, designing a new home, and moving. My passion must have been inherited from her because I even find myself stopping at every chance I get to view open homes! As an adult, I moved to Magnolia and was only a block away from the neighborhood in which I spent so much time as a kid. I feel proud to say I am a 4th-generation Magnolian!
Being my clients' advocate, creating the best quality experience during the buying or selling process, and creating lasting relationships while having fun is what gets me up in the morning. I look forward to working with you and applying the power of Windermere behind your every transaction!
