LEGAL BACKGROUND
A local Seattleite for almost 25 years, Emily attended the University of Washington for her undergraduate degree and obtained her law degree at Seattle University. Emily has been an attorney for 12 years, so her understanding of the legal issues involved in a real estate transaction is exceptional. Emily has been legally trained to protect and advocate for her clients. She is a skilled negotiator and understands how to implement legal strategy to win.
INTERNATIONAL
The ability to speak Mandarin has been invaluable for Emily's business. She plays a significant role in Windermere's representation on the international level. She leads a team of brokers to Shanghai annually, to establish an international presence for Windermere and to facilitate real estate deals with international clients. Emily strives to build and maintain international business relationships that are both successful and mutually beneficial.
INVESTMENT PROPERTIES
Investing in real estate has been in Emily's family for generations, and they own multiple investment properties all over the Pacific Northwest. Emily sits on the HOA board for one of their Seattle properties. Her first-hand experience has been a valuable asset in her representation of clients with investment needs. Emily also specializes in land acquisition, with a focus in both Shoreline and Seattle. She demonstrates extensive knowledge about zoning regulations and ensures that her clients are well-protected.
COMMUNITY VALUES
A mom of two children in the Seattle public school system, Emily is very active in the Seattle community. She founded a group called The Seattleite Mom several years ago, which now has a membership of 760 moms. This group has hosted many charity events and has helped local non-profits raise tens of thousands in donations for families in need. Emily's family is also very involved in the sports community here in Seattle. Her husband was a UW intercollegiate athlete and coaches many of their children's sports teams around North Seattle.

Emily has always had a great passion for design and started an interior design business prior to her career in real estate. Emily's own home has been featured in publications like Apartment Therapy, The Kitchen and Consumer Reports.
