Managing Broker / Queen Anne
About Ann Clark, Managing Broker....
A resident of the First Hill neighborhood of Seattle, I moved to the Pacific Northwest in October of 1994 to join a local public relations agency. Within three months of my arrival, I purchased a condominium. This home purchase was my fourth in twelve years as career opportunities moved me from Chicago, to the Washington DC area, to Walnut Creek, California, before finally coming here. My personal experiences in buying and selling real estate included a variety of market conditions – everything from hot, slow, and high interest rate to holiday season. My background includes many years in marketing, sales, and consumer affairs management positions with Fortune 500 companies. This, plus a genuine enjoyment to help people, led me to join Windermere Real Estate/Wall Street, Inc.’s Queen Anne office at the end of 1997. Windermere Real Estate expresses the same concern for servicing the client first and provides its associates with excellent training and the latest technology that I had been fortunate to have in my past employments.
I am a native of Carbondale, Pennsylvania, a town located two hours west of New York City. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in home economics from Marywood College in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and have pursued graduate studies at Drexel University and Northwestern University. I have worked for major international corporations in Philadelphia, New York City, Chicago,Washington DC, the San Francisco Bay area, and Seattle. Travel, music, shopping, home decorating and entertaining as well as restaurant sampling and enjoying the outdoors are my favorite kinds of entertainment and relaxation.
My real estate clientele includes first-time buyers, downsizers, second-home purchasers, and those looking for investment opportunities in both the residential and condo markets. I have represented buyers and sellers for Premier Properties, such as First Hill Plaza – where I have been an owner since 1995. I have listed and sold properties from Queen Anne to Belltown; Magnolia to Laurelhurst to Madison Park; Redmond to Renton to West Seattle.
In December 2002 I attained my Broker’s license having completed the additional 120 clock hours and passed the state exam. I am a member of the National Association of Realtors, Seattle/King County Association of Realtors and Seattle Condo Market Network, in addition to being an Accredited Buyer Representative. I recently served for four years as Secretary of the Board of Directors of First Hill Plaza.
